Integrated Management System Policy
ENERGOPROJEKT-KATOWICE S.A., a company providing quality design and consulting services for equipment, power and industrial plants and related facilities, has implemented, maintains and continuously improves IMS based on the requirements of Quality Management (PN-EN ISO 9001:2015), Occupational Health and Safety Management (PN ISO 45001:2018) and elements of Environmental Management (PN-EN ISO 14001:2015).
High quality of services and customer satisfaction, while minimizing the impact on the environment, observing the principles of safe work and meeting legal and other requirements, are our overriding values, which we realize through:
In the field of quality management:
- accurate recognition and understanding of customer needs and expectations;
- systematic improvement of the level of services provided;
- responsibility of all employees for quality and continuous improvement of their qualifications;
- realization of the set objectives of IMS;
- continuous improvement of the effectiveness of IMS and meeting its requirements based on, among other things, the analysis of risks and opportunities.
In the area of health and safety management:
- Actively monitoring working conditions to ensure a safe and hygienic standard for employees;
- making every effort to prevent emergency situations;
- prevention of occupational accidents and illnesses through occupational risk assessment and analysis of reported near misses;
- identifying risks and opportunities and setting health and safety goals;
- raising safety awareness among employees and stakeholders;
- committing to consultation and participation of employees in decision-making processes under the occupational health and safety management system;
- providing adequate medical care, including carrying out the required scope of preventive examinations and the resulting recommendations;
- Meeting legal and other requirements for products and services at ENERGOPROJEKT-KATOWICE SA.
In the area of environmental management:
- Identifying environmental aspects and achieving environmental goals to reduce negative environmental impacts and improve the environment;
- Taking environmental issues into account at every level of management and promoting environmental awareness among employees and stakeholders;
- Rational and efficient waste management and conservation of natural resources based on consumption of paper, electricity, water, heat, fuels;
- assessing the company's impact on the environment and minimizing any negative impacts on it.
The Management Board has secured the necessary resources for the implementation of the adopted Policy, which has been communicated, made available and is mandatory for employees of ENERGOPROJEKT-KATOWICE SA and interested parties and reviewed for suitability.
Health and Safety Policy
For ENERGOPROJEKT-KATOWICE SA, concern for employee safety is a priority issue, which means providing each employee with safe working conditions and eliminating risks to a minimum. Aware of the responsibility for Health and Safety Policy, we provide our employees:
- Actively monitoring working conditions to ensure a safe and hygienic standard for employees;
- making every effort to prevent emergency situations;
- preventing occupational accidents and illnesses through occupational risk assessment and analysis of reported near misses;
- identifying risks and opportunities and setting health and safety targets;
- raising safety awareness among employees and stakeholders;
- committing to consultation and participation of employees in decision-making processes under the occupational health and safety management system;
- providing adequate medical care, including implementing the required scope of preventive examinations and recommendations resulting from them;
- Meeting legal and other requirements for products and services at ENERGOPROJEKT-KATOWICE SA.
In order to implement this Policy, there is an organizational unit in the Office dealing with:
- conducting initial and position training for EPK employees;
- arranging periodic training for engineering and technical employees and management staff;
- conducting periodic first-aid training courses;
- organizing trial fire alarms and evacuations;
- administering a system for motivating employees to submit ideas for improving occupational health and safety at the workplace and rewarding them for their creativity;
- inspecting subcontractors for compliance with Health and Safety Policy requirements.
ENERGOPROJEKT-KATOWICE SA systematically strives to minimize the number of accidents at work by making employees and stakeholders aware of the need to comply with occupational health and safety regulations and meet legal and other requirements for products and services at ENERGOPROJEKT-KATOWICE SA.
