If it is established during the investigation that the person who reported the irregularity knowingly made false statements or concealed the truth, the person who reported the irregularity, being an employee of a company belonging to the EPK Group, may be held liable in accordance with the provisions of the Labor Code (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 1320). Such conduct may also be qualified as a serious violation of basic labor obligations and, as such, may result in termination of the employment contract without notice.

In the case of a Notifier providing services or goods to the Company under a civil law contract, a finding of a false Notification of Irregularity may result in the termination of the contract and a definitive end to the cooperation between the parties.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, a Submitter who knowingly submits a false Irregularity Report may be held liable for damages if the Company suffers any loss in connection with the false Report.
